Spring has sprung, and unfortunately so has Covid-19. As the days ahead are uncertain, and many are self isolating, you may find yourself needing a project or 10 to keep you busy and your house clean. Spring is the perfect time for a closet purge, cleaning things that were neglected over winter and getting that patio ready for entertaining in the sunshine.

Your home may be your only refuge for the unforeseen future, here are some ways to get your home spring-ready, germ-free and keep yourself and your family busy during these difficult times.
KITCHEN
Wash the floors under your fridge and stove, vacuum fridge coils
Clean the top of your kitchen cabinets
Empty refrigerator and defrost freezer, throw out old food
Clean your oven and scrub the stove-top / range
Clear out cabinets and wash shelves
Clean hood fan filters
Organize drawers, recycle mismatched tupperware (we all have those!)
LIVING AREAS
Disinfect door knobs, cabinet handles and light switches/outlets
Dust light fixtures
Wash curtains and vacuum blinds
Wash baseboards
Test batteries in all your smoke and CO2 detectors
Vacuum furniture (don't forget under the cushions!)
BATHROOMS
Organize bathroom drawers, toss old toiletries and cosmetics
Wash shower curtains and mats
Replace shower liner
Disinfect plumbing fixtures
BEDROOMS
Purge your closet - donate items not work in 1 season or more, toss damaged items
Disinfect kids toys
Wash all bedding and mattress protectors
Put pillows in the dryer for 20 minutes to fluff and kill bacteria
LAUNDRY
Clean behind washer and dryer
Thoroughly clean lint trap in dryer AND washer, check hoses
HOME OFFICE
Disinfect keyboard and mouse
Clean keyboard with canned air
Organize files and drawers
OUTDOORS
Remove everything from your garage reorganize
Pressure wash your deck and outdoor furniture
Hose-out your garbage can and recycling bins
Remove screens and wash with a soapy sponge and water
Wash the outside of your windows before replacing your window screens
